About Us - Candace Hinkle Conn's love of goats and their milk began in 1999 with a small herd of 3. These goats, Patty Cake, Chocolate, and Mehenna, were milked by hand everyday and kept in the back yard at the Conn home in Beaumont, TX. Her work as a microbiologist along with her PhD in Zoology made cheese making intriguing to Candace and led her to begin experimenting in 2002. To further advance her skills and understanding of the art, she attended a workshop at the renown Pure Luck Goat Cheese Academy located in Dripping Springs, Texas. She acquired her manufactured foods licensed in 2009 along with a much larger herd and the El Camnio de las Cabras ranch, where she has been providing gourmet goat milk products ever since.
